After a hectic trade deadline that will change the complexion of the NBA for this season and beyond, the All Star Weekend is right around the corner.

While the weekend’s festivities start on Friday night, with the celebrity game and the rising stars game, you can get the All star Weekend started on Thursday with Dibbs.

This Thursday, February 17th, we are dropping cards of three NBA legends; Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan.

Don’t miss out on the chance to buy some of the most valuable trading cards that exist for these NBA icons.

Let’s get into why fractional ownership in these specific cards is a good idea.

1986 Fleer Sticker #8 Michael Jordan PSA 9

The Card: The 1986 Fleer set is considered MJ’s true rookie set, specifically the #57 base and this #8 sticker.

The card is a PSA 9, POP 1,969, and it shows MJ in his iconic #23 Bulls jersey.

The 1986 Fleer set, MJ’s true rookie set (as mentioned above), features some of the best Michael Jordan Rookie cards you can find.

The Player: MJ doesn’t need much of an introduction, but he gets one anyways.

Jordan is widely considered to be one of, if not the best players ever. He famously went 6-0 in the NBA finals, to go along with 6 NBA Finals MVP Awards.

He also won five regular season MVP awards and TEN scoring titles… you get the point.

His All Star Game accolades are pretty good, too. During his career, he was a 14x NBA All Star, and a 3x All-Star MVP.

1992 Topps Gold Shaquille O'Neal ROOKIE RC #362 PSA 10 GEM MINT

The Card: Topps Gold is a popular variation of the Topps Base card. At the bottom of the card, you can see the gold foil stamped nameplate.

This card is a fan favorite because of the aesthetic appeal the gold at the bottom adds. Not to mention, the image of Shaq in the post, physically dominating his defender is extremely on-point.

There are a lot of valuable Shaq cards, and this one certainly qualifies as one of the best Shaquille O'Neal rookie cards out there.

The Player: Like the other players in this All-Star Weekend drop, Shaq doesn’t need much of an introduction. One of the most physically dominant players ever, he is a 4x NBA champion, and 3x Finals MVP.

He and Kobe (read about below) formed one of the most potent combo attacks the league has ever seen.

Shaq is a 15x NBA All-Star, too. Despite being retired for over a decade, Shaq is as relevant as ever, thanks to his role on Inside The NBA.

This card is hands down one of the best Shaquille O’neal rookie cards out there, and when you can get a piece of one of the best rookie cards of an NBA legend, it’s never a bad idea.

1996 Topps Chrome #138 Kobe Bryant PSA 10

The Card: Last, but certainly not least, is Kobe Bryant.

In 1996, Topps Chrome was the mainstream, go-to basketball card brand. This card is a PSA 10, POP 832.

Those who followed Kobe’s career know that he changed his number from 8 to 24 in the 2006-07 season. This change adds extra meaning to the number, and specifically to this card showing him in the OG number 8 jersey.

The Player: Kobe Bryant, known for his relentless work ethic and on-court attitude, was an incredibly special player.

Hollywood couldn’t have drawn up a more fitting way to end his career than with the 60-point performance he had, leading his team to a win one final time.

Kobe won five championships during his career, and was a 2x Finals MVP.

He is one of the best All-Star Game players ever, evidenced by his 18 All-Star game selections, and all-time best 4 All-Star Game MVP selections.

Kobe Bryant rookie cards are always a good asset to own, and that will never change.
