Written by The Dibbs Team | Mar 29, 2022 4:00:00 AM

Devin Booker and the Suns have been absolutely incredible this season, following an impressive playoff run last year that ended in a finals loss.

Booker and the Suns have not slowed down at all this season. The 61-14 Suns have the best record in the NBA - and no other team is close, with the 52-23 Grizzlies owning the second best record.

Still just 25 years old, Booker keeps on getting better. On the season, he is averaging 26.5 points per game. However, since the All Star game, Booker has been on another level, averaging over 30 points per game.

Devin Booker is only getting better, and this is a coveted NBA rookie card of his.

Panini NBA Cards

Panini Prizm Basketball is easily one of the biggest basketball releases every year. In 2015, each box contained one autograph and 12 Prizm parallels, three of which were numbered.

Panini Prizm NBA rookie cards are highly coveted cards, especially when it is one of a young NBA superstar who is taking his game to the next level.

For reference, Panini got the NBA license in 2009. 2010 and 2011 were down years for NBA cards as a whole.

Prizm started in 2012, which is when it really started to take off. Since then, Panini Prizm Basketball has been one of the biggest releases year in and year out.

In the 2015 set, Devin Booker NBA rookie cards are some of the top chase cards. A “Chase card” is the card that collectors are hoping for in the set. Many collectors consider the “key” Devin Booker rookie card to be found in this set.

The aesthetics of this rookie card immediately catch the eye. The picture of Booker dribbling on top of the colorful background is sweet. The shiny silver finish really makes it stand out, pushing it to be one of the most popular of the 14 different Prizm parallels.

Then there is the fact that it is a PSA 10 POP 180 - meaning there are only 180 of these cards with a PSA 10 grade. Plus, there are fewer Silver Prizms produced in the 2015 set compared to more recent years, making it even rarer.

Ultimately, Panini Prizm cards are very sought after by collectors. A Prizm rookie of a young NBA superstar is a no brainer.

Devin Booker: The Player

Booker has been a star since he entered the league in 2015. At age 20, Booker became the youngest player to score 60 or 70 points in an NBA game, with his 70 point performance. In doing so, he also became one of just six players in NBA history to score 70+ points in a game.

While his 70 points in a game is his career high (obviously!), Booker's game has massively improved in the years since.

In his last four seasons, he’s averaged 26.6, 26.6, 25.6 and 26.5 points per game, respectively. In the playoffs last season, he averaged 27.3 points per game. He is a certified scorer.

This Suns team is truly dominant. They have a great chance to finish the season with more than 65 wins, which would solidify them as one of the all-time great regular season teams.

Further, barring injury, there is no reason to doubt that they are the most likely team to win the championship.

Seeing how his NBA rookie cards have moved over the past several years, how would the addition of an NBA championship to his resume impact his cards?
